Sun-Dried Tomato & Avocado Toast with The Health Factory's Zero Maida Rye Sourdough
Ingredients:
2 slices of The Health Factory's Zero Maida Rye Sourdough
2 tbsp cream cheese
2 tbsp sun-dried tomatoes
½ cup arugula
1 slice of cheese
½ avocado, mashed
1 tbsp butter or olive oil
Instructions:
Toast the Bread:
Lightly toast the sourdough slices in a small amount of olive oil or butter until golden and crisp.
Spread the Cream Cheese:
Spread a generous layer of cream cheese on one slice of toasted bread.
Add Sun-Dried Tomatoes:
Evenly place the sun-dried tomato pieces over the cream cheese layer.
Add Cheese & Greens:
Place a slice of cheese on the second slice of toast and top with fresh arugula.
Add Avocado & Assemble:
Spread mashed avocado over the sun-dried tomato layer and gently press both slices together to form a sandwich.
Grill the Sandwich:
In a pan over medium heat, cook the sandwich for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden and the cheese has melted.
Serve:
Slice and serve warm. Enjoy!
