Spicy Chickpea Toast with Zero Maida Protein Bread

Ingredients:

  • Zero Maida Protein Bread – 2 slices
  • Canned chickpeas – 1 cup (drained and rinsed)
  • Plain yogurt – 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • Cumin powder – 1 tsp
  • Paprika – 1 tsp
  • Salt & pepper – to taste
  • Fresh cilantro/parsley – for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Chickpea Spread:

    • Mash the chickpeas with a fork, leaving some chunks.
    • Add yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Toast the Bread:

    • Toast the bread slices to your desired crispiness.
  3. Assemble the Toast:

    • Spread the chickpea mixture evenly on the toast.
    • Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
  4. Serve:

    • Enjoy immediately as a protein-packed snack!
