Chicken Smash Burger with Zero Maida Burger Buns

Ingredients:
- Zero Maida Burger Buns – 2
- Chicken breast – 1 (sliced into slabs)
- Salt & pepper – to taste
- Fresh herbs (optional)
- Butter – for toasting
- Oil – 1/4 tbsp
- Cheese slice – 2 (optional)
- Onion – 1 (sliced)
- Lettuce leaves – 2
- Tomato – 1 (sliced)
- Sauce of choice (mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard)
- Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp (optional)
Instructions:

Prepare the Buns:
- Slice the burger buns in half.
- Lightly butter the cut sides and toast them until golden and crisp. Set aside.

Season the Chicken:
- Slice the chicken breast into slabs to fit the buns.
- Season with salt, pepper, and herbs (if using).

Cook the Chicken:
- Heat oil in a pan over high heat.
- Place the chicken in the pan and sear for 2 minutes to create a golden crust.

Smash & Add Cheese:
- Flip the chicken over and press down gently with a spatula.
- Add a slice of cheese on top and cook for another minute until melted.

Assemble the Burger:
- Spread sauce on the bottom half of the toasted bun.
- Layer with fresh onion slices, lettuce, and tomato.
- Place the cooked chicken patty on top.
- Sprinkle chili flakes (if using) and close with the top bun.
